Hydrogen Line Leak Ignites in Hydrodesulfurisation Unit, Damaging Surrounding Lines
In a hydrodesulfurization unit of a refinery, a leak on a hydrogen line ignited and damaged the surrounding lines, including one with acid gas. The weather conditions (fog and very little wind) raised fears of poisoning for the personnel of the units. The fire, however, was located and did not destroy vital lines.
